Mask Drive-In Memory Of Vinnie of Angels of Addiction Baltimore
August 1 @ 8:45 pm - 11:15 pm EDT
Angels of Addiction (AOA) Baltimore provides support and assistance to people impacted by addiction. Founder, Patty Lee, started AOA in her son’s memory. AOA coordinates street outreach and food missions in Southwest Baltimore.
This mask drive is to honor the memory of Patty’s dear friend and fellow outreach worker, Vinnie. Vinnie recently lost her battle with COVID-19.
AOA Baltimore is collecting face coverings to distribute to children ages 3-18 currently living in motels and recovery homes. Instead of doing back to school bags this year, AOA will be focusing on distributing face coverings that the children would enjoy wearing.
Whether homemade or purchased, all mask types are being accepted. Character and sports themed masks are very popular with the children. You can find mask suggestions on the following registry list.
If you are interested in contributing, please comment below or send me a message. I will provide you with details for contactless drop-off in Halethorpe. If you want to contribute, but don’t have time to shop or sew, you can also purchase a gift card and I will shop for you.
Thanks in advance on behalf of AOA.
